Credit Report– As for credit landlords don’t focus too much on the number, rather that there are no bankruptcies or evictions (Retrieve free at creditkarma.com)
Proof Of Income – Landlords usually are looking to see household income is roughly at 2-3x the rent amount per month. Use last three months Bank statements or Paystubs.
Background Check- This can be obtained for a small fee and quick via rentspree.com
Valid ID – Drivers License

Pre-qualification -This can be obtained from a Lender once all the below documents are submitted.
Tax Returns – Last two year Taxes and W2’s
Paystubs– Lenders will want to see paystubs if you are not self employed
Bank Statements – Lenders will check statements to confirm you have several months worth of reserve mortgage payments in your account. They will also check to see that your down payment has been in your account for a few months.
Valid ID – Drivers License

Down Payment – Percentage down varies
